Ori Biotech is a London and Philadelphia-based innovator in cell and gene therapy manufacturing. Powered by its cutting-edge IRO platform, Ori is on a mission to make life-saving next-generation therapies accessible to patients on a global scale.
Ori Biotech required a cohesive packaging and labelling system to support the launch of their IRO platform and accompanying consumables, a key step in enabling the delivery of the company’s CGT offering.
As a long-term partner, we were tasked with establishing product branding and creating print-ready artwork across a wide range of packaging formats. The challenge was to develop a visual design language that aligned with the Ori brand while remaining appropriate for a clinical environment – professional, precise and not overly decorative.
The packaging system needed to scale effectively from labelling on shipping pallets down to 4.5 x 6 cm labels, while maintaining branding consistency. With multiple printing techniques and suppliers to manage as well, absolute attention to detail regarding quality output and print consistency was key.
With multiple packaging formats, technical spec and regulatory requirements to consider, a collaborative and structured approach was essential. We worked closely with Ori product team to fully understand the needs of each product, ensuring all design solutions were grounded in real-world application.
Alongside this, we interrogated briefs, aligned with the client's key milestones and coordinated closely with print suppliers to oversee print quality and colour consistency for all applications. Managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, from concept through to final artwork and print testing, allowed us to maintain consistency, flexibility and quality across the entire packaging family.

A cohesive and scalable packaging system was rolled out to 44 assets, including primary, secondary and tertiary packaging, multiple label formats and laser-etched components.
The result was a significant step forward from the previously unbranded packaging, establishing a clear, consistent and professional visual identity that communicates the precision and innovation of Ori Biotech at every touchpoint.
